“Lovely spot!”
My 2 kids & I stayed with Bill for 7 nights while we were visiting friends in the city. What a lovely spot! Bill was a most gracious host, and we felt completely at home. He was great with the kids, breakfasts were yummy, and the location was perfect for our purposes. We especially enjoyed sitting on the roof garden in the evening, watching the activity of the city below. I would echo the comments of the other reviews in that Bill is completely trustworthy and I had no issues at all with payment in advance via PayPal. We definitely intend to return.

“Excellent Value and Great Service”
We stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast with Bill. Very close to "El Centro". Excellent host. We were looking to buy a house“Excellent Value and Great Service” and Bill just gave us all of the info we needed. We really hit it off. Of course you won't be disappointed about the decor! I really felt at home. I really enjoyed the guests also. We are going back this weekend. I hope when we move there he will be our friend.

“Great location”
I stayed at Bill's B & B in June while attending a language immersion program. Very comfortable room and lovely inside garden. It's on a busy street but it's quiet during sleeping hours. The walk to el centro is steep and makes for a good work out. Bill was very helpful and really knows Cuernavaca. Several small restaurants practically next door.

“A Fine Place to Stay”
A MORE GRACIOUS HOST, you will not find other than Bill at Your Host Inn. An elegant breakfast was served each morning, fine conversation, and he made sure all of our needs were met. While chatting with my friend in the courtyard one evening, I found a glass of wine in front of me. It was neither announced nor requested, making it all the more a nice surprise.
The inn was built and designed by Bill. He turned it from, literally, a junkyard, to a unique inn, through a combination of his imagination, knowledge, and skilled local labor.
The inn itself is an indoor / outdoor design. The center of it is open, with the rooms on two of the walls. Bill has hundreds of plants about the inn and he is rightly proud of them. One evening he showed up with several dozen flowers, arranging them in various places. Not that I know much about flowers, but it shows the detail of his work.
There are two Chihuahuas that will greet you each morning. Miranda, the darker one, especially wants your attention.
A deposit is required to be sent to Bill’s bank in the States, as he does not accept credit cards. While this is not the custom many of us are used to, I assure you his method is legitimate.
Suggestion: If your flight into Mexico City arrives at a late hour, as mine did, accept Bill’s offer to pick you up at the airport. Either he or his backup will do so. The alternative is to take the bus and then taxi to the hotel. For the first time visit and being unfamiliar with the area, I thought his fee was worth it.

“Most charming and gracious Inn”
A gem of a B&B at a reasonable price in downtown Cuernavaca....a short but steep walk to the main square. Bill, your host, is a retired Art professor who has built a beautiful, multistoried home full of US and Mexican art, pottery, artifacts and flowers. Our group included three generations and all agreed that it was the most interesting place any of us had ever stayed. Breakfast in the dining room was both delicious and fascinating as the room is full of interesting artifacts.

“Excellent Home Base for Cuernavaca area”
Three of us stayed at Bill Cummins B&B for six nights in February 2008. Located close to the center of town and Bill has lived there for many years and knows where to eat and visit. Good bus connections to Tepoztlan and Taxco. We contracted with Bill for a day trip to Xochicalco and Hacienda Villa Hermosa. Bill built his house and it is a beautiful place to stay. John from MN.

“Great B&B”
We had a wonderful stay at Your Host Inn. Bill is a very knowledgable and gracious host. He gave us a lot of good tips about places to visit in Cuernavaca as well as good restaurants to try. The breakfasts he prepared were delicious. The room was beautiful. The only downside was the noise from the street but I suspect that most hotels near downtown have the same problem. It is a huge advantage to be so close to downtown though, so the noise is worth it. By the way, we were also worried about sending money straight to his account for a deposit but there were no problems. Bill is very trustworthy. We would definitely stay there again.

“Best B & B Experience Ever!”
Bill advised me to make my deposit for our stay into a designated U.S. bank account. I wasn't sure I could trust this, as I'd run into a couple of Mexican hotels taking our deposits and then denying that we'd ever sent one, once we arrived. But I want you to know that you can trust Bill. Completely. Not only with money, but directions, advice on where to eat, what to see, which villages might be best for your own particular interests---everything. He has a big and generous heart, works hard, knows when to leave his guests alone, and does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. He's an excellent cook and storyteller, if you want him to join you at meals or an evening drink. Everything good that was said by other reviewers I can only second. My husband and I stayed with Bill to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we returned home with the gift of great memories. After we saw how simple it was to follow Bill's e-mailed instructions about how to get from the plane in Mexico City to the bus going to Cuernavaca we wished that U.S. airports were set up so conveniently. It was simple to get there. I have no hesitation to recommend Your Host Inn.

“Loved the B&B”
The B&B was in a lush garden setting with more flowers and foliage than I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bill is a fantastic chef, varying breakfast each of the 5 days we were there. He has 2 charming little chihuahua dogs (Mirnada & Coco Channel) that added so much to our visit. The price was very reasonable by US standards. Bill is a great host balancing having just the right amount of interaction with the guests. Bill is very accommodating in meeting your needs. He has lots of ideas for things to do in the area. The B&B is a 10 min. walk from downtown.

“FELT LIKE HOME!!”
We had a fantastic time during our stay at Yourhostinn in Cuernavaca. Bill provided us with all the information we needed, in a step by step format, getting from the airport in Mexico City to his front door in Cuernavaca. He and his staff are wonderful hosts that do everything they can to make you feel right at home. The patios are serene and relaxing. It is very central to all major attractions. He provided us with good food, good conversation, and good friendships. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone planning a trip to Cuernavca. You will certainly leave with good memories and new friendships.

“Excellent B&B, wonderful host”
Bill is a wonderful host. The rooms were clean, breakfasts were gourmet, and it felt like home when we returned from a day of touring Cuernavaca. Walking distance to the market and close to the center of the city - all we had to do was step out the door and hail a cab. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

“Didn't want to leave”
A thoroughly charming house, decorated with lovely Mexican folk art and made cozy and comfortable by your host, Bill. Your Host Inn offers a perfect bed and breakfast experience. Excellent food and ambiance and a super friendly Chihuahua named Carmen Miranda.

“Great find”
We found this gem on the mexonline website and are so happy we did. This small B & B features superb accommodations: immaculate and large, folk art decorated suites, hundreds of plants vines and flowers, a rooftop terrace and wonderful gourmet breakfasts. Also Bill , your host, provides up to date local info on bus trips, and all kinds of places to go and see. We would not have known about the recently opened modern art museum (Muros) as it was not in our guidebook, without his recommendation. He offers tours as well. Location is in a real neighborhood; a nice, short walk to el centro, the huge, daily and unbelievable mercado and many other places of interest.
